With 38 well-appointed campsites, we easily found the perfect spot to park our trailer and settle into our temporary home. The gravel pad provided a sturdy foundation, while the picnic table became our gathering place for delicious meals and lively conversations. And of course, the fire pit became the centerpiece of our evenings, where stories were shared and marshmallows roasted to perfection.
The common areas at Edgewater Bar Campground beckoned us to connect with nature and fellow campers. We wandered along the riverbank, taking in the serene views and feeling a sense of tranquility wash over us. The grassed areas between sites provide a great backdrop for leisurely strolls and outdoor games.

Tamihi Creek Recreation Site is a cherished destination that we have frequented with our trailer. Nestled along the scenic Chilliwack River and Tamihi Creek, this captivating retreat offers an array of amenities and natural wonders.
Tamihi Creek Recreation Site is divided into three distinct areas, each with its own unique charm. The East section has 16 spacious sites and a large shelter, providing a perfect blend of tranquility and communal spaces. The West section offers 88 well-appointed sites, ensuring ample room for you to park your trailer and immerse yourself in the surrounding beauty. The Staging Area, while not available for overnight camping, provides a convenient shelter and day use parking area, making it an ideal spot for off-loading ATVs and motorbikes.
The nearby Trans Canada Trail allows hikers to embark on scenic adventures, while the extensive network of ATV and motorcycle trails promises excitement for adrenaline enthusiasts. Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted to discover great fishing spots in and around the site, adding to the allure of this picturesque destination. We camp here each fall over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend with all of our family and friends and have our annual fishing derby here each year as well.
